On the morning of the 12th inst. a train, consisting of seven passenger cars, left the village of Whitensville (Worcester, MA), at twenty-five minutes past six in the morning, bound for Providence...On the same morning, a train, comprising two passenger cars, left Providence at twenty minutes past seven A.M. for Worcester...The train from Whitensville is proved to have been seven minutes behind its time when it reached Valley Falls station, one mile from the the trains should have passed..."
