拟设

拟设（德语：Ansatz）是数学和物理学术语。意思是先作出一个假设，并且按照这个假设去进行一系列的演算，用所得到的结果来检验最初的假设是否成立。当一个问题难以用直接的方法解决的时候，拟设经常是解决问题的出发点。

实例

统计学上面想找出两个量之间的关系，一般是先画散点图，如果散点图上面的点大致分布在一条直线附近，就会作出这两个量有线性关系的拟设，根据线性模型用最小二乘法做一系列的计算，再用计出来的相关系数检验究竟起初的假设是否成立。
