熊秉純

熊秉純（Ping-Chun Hsiung），出生於台灣宜蘭，祖籍河南省商城縣。歷史學碩士，美國加州大學洛杉磯分校（UCLA）社會學博士。現任職於加拿大多倫多大學社會系及亞洲研究中心。

多年來從事家庭、社會變遷、社會性別及質性研究方法的研究與教學。從1990年代初開始參與中國婦女非政府組織發展、社會性別的學科建設、以及質性研究方法推廣的相關工作。近年來致力於知識生產、再生產的歷史情境和社會機制的研究工作。
