昂古莱姆的爱德华(Edward of Angoulême;1365年1月27日—1370年9月29日),是英格兰国王爱德华三世长子黑太子爱德华与妻子肯特的琼安的长子,英格兰国王理查德二世的哥哥。
生平
[编辑]出生于父亲黑太子爱德华领地阿基坦公国的昂古莱姆城堡中[1],当时的风俗以出生地命名为昂古莱姆的爱德华。出生时为百年战争期间,由他的父亲和其他君主如法国的查理五世一同奢华地庆祝他的诞生。
1370年,当时只得5岁的昂古莱姆的爱德华经过长时间的痛苦后[2]死于鼠疫[3]。虽然他死亡时间并不是准确地记载,一般记载是1371年一月的某日[4][5][6]。威格莫尔纪事于1370年的记载爱德华死于圣米迦勒的节日左右(即9月29日)[7],这可能是正确的日期[8][9][10]。
当黑太子爱德华在围攻利摩日之后回来得悉昂古莱姆的爱德华的去世时,他心中非常难过,但是他知道没有人能够逃脱死亡。失去昂古莱姆的爱德华是黑太子爱德华及肯特的琼安的悲痛,增加了黑太子爱德华病情的严重程度。昂古莱姆的爱德华赢了一个如基督般的名声。黑太子爱德华带同肯特的琼安及幼子理查德于1371年回到英国,并于1376年在那里死于痢疾。
黑太子和他的家人离开前往英格兰之前,他留下他的弟弟冈特的约翰在波尔多负责安排昂古莱姆的爱德华的葬礼,所有加斯科涅和普瓦图的贵族都有出席。根据理查德二世的命令,爱德华的遗体于1388至1389年被挖掘出来由艾尔主教罗伯特负责运回英格兰。昂古莱姆的爱德华被安葬在“奇尔特恩兰利”,又称孩童兰利,在金斯兰利庄园对出的一个修道院[11] 。1540和1607年之间在金斯兰利教堂被破坏了;爱德华于1631年已经重新安葬在奥斯汀修道士教堂[12]。
