扇蟹科（學名：Xanthidae）是軟甲綱十足目中的一個科。這個科的動物往往色彩鮮艷，含有烹飪時不會被殺滅、至今為止沒有解毒劑的毒素[2]。這些毒素與四齒魨科的河豚毒素及蛤蚌毒素類似，可能是由與這些螃蟹共生的弧菌屬細菌如溶藻弧菌（V. alginolyticus）及副溶血弧菌（V. parahaemolyticus）生產的[2]。
分類
[編輯]許多原來屬於扇蟹科的物種後來被分出去分到其它科去了。雖然如此，扇蟹科依然是螃蟹當中物種最多、物種多樣性最豐富的科，目前已知的它共有13個亞科、133個屬和572個種[3]。
